Recently, Gabriela Gerhart, Founder of the Motherhood Center received a private tour of the Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital from CEO Susie Distefano, who oversees the operations for the 308-bed hospital and women’s services. Gabriela said the patients have easy access to the medical staff and noticed the great focus and care the hospital provides for each individual patient. During the tour Susie(dressed in business attire), couldn’t hide her RN skills and genuine interest in patient care, and quickly assisted a new mom in the NICU with her newborn premature twins. Gabriela said Susie’s smile, positive outlook, and can-do attitude were very refreshing.
