Pregnancy can be a truly amazing time, but for some mothers who hadn’t planned on being pregnant, it can be a hugely challenging time. LifeHouse Houston’s mission is to help women through pregnancy and beyond. Their facility accepts women as young as 12 years old. All the residents benefit from cost-free housing, meals, prenatal care, life skills training, counseling, access to school or work, and a loving environment. To date, the organization has cared for over 600 women and their children.
In order to continue caring for women and their children, LifeHouse benefits from the generosity of the community. The Motherhood Center will be collecting donations of new and gently used items for the organization from November 4th-17th. Please bring anything that you can and drop it off at the center.
